Last week saw an untoward lapse in my baseball radio reporting. Apologies.
Tonight I caught the last few innings of Oakland's disappointing 8-3 loss to Seattle. Baseball is the greatest game ever, and I can listen to any game from anwhere. But it does help to have a rooting interest, and I've grown fond of the Green Collar Baseball offered down at the Coliseum.
So while the AtBat app has every MLB game I pay the most attention to those from the Bay. Yes, it's more fun to have particular teams to follow. It's also the reality that living in Pacific time means West Coast ball is easier to catch in the evenings after work. When we move back to Evanston that may change. Or not--maybe I'll be an A's fan forevermore, one thread of continuity with our years in the Bay.
