Overheard on the Stingy Streets of Berkeley

Father to daughter, as he was feeding the meter on Shattuck Avenue: "This isn't Oakland! You get a lot less for a quarter here."

When I was in Cincinnati, I almost fell off the sidewalk when I realized how many minutes my nickel gave me at the meter.
